st wonderful friend here was Jane Quinnelly (65 yearbook p61 & 214) & now a lifelong friend living in Anaheim CA just down from Disneyland and 15 minutes from our home. Still adding to this . . . Marion High School Marion, IL ------------------ Loved to run and was on track team. 62-3 10th 61-2 9th Best friend and terrific athlete was Harold (Bud) Glick. I found Harold's CM Profile just after he "quit" CM! But I will find him somehow and you will see him as my CM friend soon. We rode our bikes to view the construction of the Marion Federal Prison. Still adding to this . . . Gunston Middle School --------------------- I was on the track team and loved to run! I have no yearbook or pictures, I really hope someone posts a yearbook please? 61-2 9th Would have graduated this year but I was at Marion HS instead. 60-1 8th and then during summer 61 we left for Marion IL 59-60 7th Ft Myer Elementary Arlington, VA ------------------ My teachers from memory (I have no pics or yearbooks.) Custodian Mr Branch My best friend here was Bruce Coe and we are still in touch and still great friends. I just reconnected on CM with Marion Watson (MacCaugeren) and can't stop smiling, we are catching up. Friends I might find some day are Billy McKensie last seen WF HS graduation day 65, Larry Andrews last seen Geo Mason College '66, Michael & Jeff Tate, Norman Gray killed in VN whom I still miss greatly, Joseph, Max, Juanita, & Sylvia Terrian, Martin Zirkle, Greg Philbrick so many more. Living on South Post Ft Myer was magical to me. It was safe, families with children in each quarters (home), playmates outside everyday, and always something to do. We lived at 171 and 271 Florida Hall and Quarters 210. In elementary school I worked: Set pins SP Bowling Alley, bagged groceries at commissary SP and also NP, swept SP barbershop, and sold Army/Navy Times in tunnel to Pentagon. Bruce Coe and I collected pop bottles for the 5cent redemption. Yankees little league first baseman. The Greenroom, SP NCO Club, Teen Club, SP Gym (shooting range was in basement where I was taught by military marksmen), Sunday School, and the SP Chapel - I was in the choir.
