Layla's Story
Well I know my time at west was short but I did graduate in 1996!!! I went on to college and wound up pregnant. My mother died just after my 1st son "James" was born and I was devastated. The father of my son left with him and I fell apart. I gave birth to 4 other children after that but chose to adopt them out due to no support to overcome my addictions and greif. I married a man who beat the crap out of me for 3 years including all 9 months of my pregnancy. I'm now divorced, in a great relationship with an amazing man, and expecting another child. We're soon to be married as well but never again. It's totally different for me now that dope isn't a part of my life. I want to find the happiness I never could when I went to school. So far it's there but I'm still struggling with how to understand how to accept these new feelings. I miss alot of my old "TRUE" friends and would love to fi...Expand for more
nd some of them in hopes that I can live that sober life I missed out on growing up. I'm in my 5th year of law school with an a/b average. I love it.!! I'm also working on getting my children back from the state. Things are finally going well for me and it took so damn long!!! I'm beginning my first novel and hope it gets published. I also own my own cleaning business and am very active in helping addicts clean up thier acts. I still play piano guitar and bass as well as sing and our 4th cd should be coming out soon.!!! Look for it it's called "FAMILY BUSINESS!!" and mostly guitar and hillbilly misic fyi. Anyhow I look forward to hearing from any of you guys from my past ant would enjoy reuiniting as long as you either don't use or don't use around me. I feel like a completely different woman and want all of you to see the rose that blossomed from that dark angel we all knew. Later!!!
