LeRoy's Story
Life
After high school, I did four years with the Air Force, mostly in Germany. While in Germany, I worked with remote Microwave communications sites as well as parlaying my limited musical skills into working with a country and western band.
After that, I returned to West Des Moines and did 3 years at Iowa State, finishing with an associates in Electronics Technology.

After 15 years in Phoenix, Sperry transferred me to Albuquerque NM with the company being purchased by Honeywell shortly after. I (hopefully) finished my work career with Honeywell, retiring near the end of 1997.
Since formally retiring, I do a limited amount of consultant work on Information Technology, largely in business applications development and support.
Along the way, I have been married twice and have 7 kids, 10 grandkids and 3 great-grandkids. Wife# 2 hasn't thrown me out yet and I'm in reasonably good health, so life ain't all that bad.
