Leah's Story
Life
I left Greenville for Boarding School in 1978. I graduated from Selwyn in 1980 and left for New Orleans. I attended Newcomb College of Tulane University. I was a Fiji little sister. I graduated from Newcomb with a BA in Art History and went to law school. I attended St. Mary's School of Law and graduated in 1987. I passed the bar exam and was sworn in as an attorney on November 16, 1987.
I worked for 8 years in the Civil Section of the Bexar County Criminal District Attorney's Office.
In August of 1995, I moved to Greenville, with my then husband, where I became partners with my father in his law practice, which was a goal that I made for myself in the 4th grade. In 1999, we merged with my father's best friend's law firm and now are a two office. We had six attorneys (three Alexanders, a McCampbell and me). My father died in December of 2006. This was a devastating blow to all of us.

oduced me to the concept of Children's Rights in 1979. I decided that this was something that I was interested in. I am now an appointed Attorney Ad Litem for children who are victims of abuse or neglect, so I have met another one of my long term goals.
I also represent a hospital and electric utility so I stay pretty busy.
Some Summers I travel with my friends from Tulane and their families. We have gone to Vail, Colorado; Asheville, North Carolina and Costa Rica.
I am divorced with no children other than my cats and my doctor made me move them outside! I am always looking for friends. I am not very computer savvy. But, if you see this, contact me!
I have taken to reading Vampire novels and my new saying is that Vampire Sex is the cure for whatever ails you.
I scrapbook. It's a geeky hobby; but I enjoy it and I love my friends. We meet once a week and "work" on our ideas--read: Gossip about each other.
