Leah's Story
Even though I moved away from Portland in April of 1978 (during the final six weeks of my junior year), I always considered G-PHS Class of 1979 my "class"! I've been away for 30 years, still in the D/FW area. Too far, I guess, to keep in touch with anyone (at least that's what I tell myself to ease the regret at losing track of some very special people).
When I moved to Portland in 1975, I didn't quite fit in with the "surfers" or the "jocks" or the "redneck...Expand for more
s". I was proud to be a "freak" though! In fact, I wouldn't be the person I am today without all the awesome experiences I had back then.
Viewing the G-PHS webpage, all the faculty/staff look so young. Where are the Mr. Medina's & Ms. Rowe's? Did anyone else fail Ms. Rowe's PE class or was I the only one??? I still have nightmares of creepy Mr. Medina stalking/spying on me!
Looking to make contact with long lost friends, who remember the Good Times!
