Leah's Story
Life
Mark and I live in Erie and love it here. We have 8 kids; two of whom have graduated from college.
My oldest two (Emily and Adam) are now married and I have two grandbabies on the way....both GIRLS!
My third, Nathaniel, is in the PA Army National Guard ( though he trains at the Armory in Erie and signed there, Ridgway is his division headquarters and that was NOT planned!!! I could not believe how strange that was!).
The rest of our kids are still in school.
Gretchen, our fourth, is graduating this year and hopes to become a Missionary and has fallen in love with Poland. She has served the Lord there three times and hopes to go back. She is a remarkable young lady and loves the Lord very much. She reminds me a LOT of my Mom.
(On a sad note, my mom, Betsy, lost her battle with gastric cancer and died in NOV. 2001. That is a deep source of sadness for me. She died a Christian and so we know where she is and we will see her again one day.)
Our youngest, Abby is now almost 7! What a little pumpkin! We truly have been blessed beyond belief.
I enjoy boating, reading, church activities, and I teach Sunday School periodically at First Alliance Church.

ty that I enjoy a little to much - I love to shop...I am a bargain hunter! :-) The bigger the bargain, the bigger the thrill. I know, it's a little goofy, but it makes me happy.
I have worked on and off part time over the course of my married life, but mostly have devoted my time to my family at home and serving the Lord through various church activities/programs.
**When the weather is nice and warm, you will find me on the lake enjoying the wind and waves on our boat. I am thoroughly fascinated...NO OBSESSED, with WIND, WAVES and the WEATHER.
My goal in life is to accomplish all the things that I was created to do. My highest goal is to love and serve Jesus, my Lord, to bring Glory to Him through my life,
and to help lead my children and those I know and love to a saving relationship with Jesus Christ. If I accomplish that, my life will be counted a huge success.
Erie has been a wonderful place to live. THE LORD HAS BLESSED MY LIFE SO MUCH! I am grateful to Him for the life I live.
If you have been a part of my past, chances are I have prayed for you by name.
If not here on earth, I look forward to seeing you in Heaven......so BE THERE!!!
Love to you all, Leah :-)
