Leah's Story
after school I joined the Navy for two years,then I worked in Baltimore - AT&T in billing department.
My husband was transferred to Panama, in the Army, as a Meat and Dairy Inspector. We were in the Canal Zone for year and then went to Nata for two years and then to Aguadulce for two more years. We came bck to the USA in 1960. At which time Tom was transferred from Ft...Expand for more
. Lewis to Camp Hanford, Richland WA. He then was transferred to Cochabama, Bolivia,SA. for two years. I stayed in Richland and went to work for GE in Keypunching, after a year I transferred out to the area and worked in the Laboratory. I retired from the company in 1989.
We adopted a daughter from Costa Rico and then another daughter from Taiwan.
We are both retired now.
