Hi everyone. This is exciting for me to have made contact with some of my classmates from ACHS. The past 50 years have been a mixture of life's joys and sorrows, but that's called LIFE isn't it? When I graduated, I started making plans to spend the rest of my life with Dan Steele. We met on a blind date at the Concert Choir Picnic in the spring of our Junior year. Kathy Mitton and Ron Worl set us up. Dan and Ron worked together at Safeway, We have them to thank for our love story which has lasted 49 years come November. Dan was Navy bound and served aboard the USS Enterprise Aircraft Carrier during Viet Nam. He returned in 1969 and in 1971 our son came to us. Five years later we were blessed with a daughter. We remained in the Denver area until 1983 when we moved to Hastings, NE, where we have made our life. Career wise I was trained as a Classroom Interpreter for the Deaf and continued until 1995 when my students graduated and moved forward with their lives.
