Leann's Story
I vowed I'd never live in Racine, but here I am. I did leave Racine for awhile; went to college in Madison, lived in Milwaukee for 11 years while teaching special education in both Racine and Union Grove, then moved to Scotland to be with the man who's now my husband. I taught school for two years in Scotland then we moved back to Racine, to be close to my family. My Mom really hated me living so far away, so now I live on the same street I grew up on, only 3 houses away from my mother. We figured if we weren't living in Scotland we may as well be as close to my family as possible!

in 1998, when I worked as a graphic designer for a year, then decided to quit working and go to art school. I attended UW Milwaukee's Art School for 4 years and majored in Graphic Design and Film Production. During my last year of art school I became pregnant with twins (yes I was over 40 when I got pregnant) and had to quit school due to a pregnancy from hell. Now I have two delightful 4 1/2 year old boy/girl twins and I'm a stay-at-home mother. When I'm not chasing around two active preschoolers, I keep myself busy turning my family green and selling natural products on my online store safe-n-healthy.com.
