Lee's Story
Life
'83 - Graduated from Annapolis HS
'86 - Junior Year Abroad at St. Andrew's Univ. in Scotland. Traveled a lot of Europe.
'87 - Graduated from Sewanee, The University of the South, in Sewanee TN.
'87-'88 - Worked as an archivist at MD State Archives in Annapolis.
'88-'90 - Taught HS and MS English at Massanutten Military Academy in Woodstock, VA. Lots of great nature to enjoy, but otherwise, little to do in a small rural town.
'90-92 - Masters in Theology at Yale University. Did not solve life's mysteries, and left still not sure what career path to take.
'92 - Lived at VA Beach, surfed, didn't work much but had a great time until money ran out.
'93-'96 - Worked in program development/administration for summer camps, conferences, continuing education, etc. for the Episcopal Church in VA.
'96-98 - Masters in Social Work from VCU in Richmond, VA, so I could do less administration, and more people-oriented work.
'98-present - Work as me...Expand for more
ntal health consultant, mostly teaching parenting classes and doing couples work. On the other side, do divorce consulting (how to prevent more hurt to kids, etc.). Talk about angry people..., not to mention permanent job security. I much prefer the couples work, but do enjoy the divorce consulting because it's so important to the kids.
2000 - Married Holly, a vibrant, wonderful woman who has made me a better person. Holly's from Richmond, VA, where we live with our 13 year-old daughter, Anna (my step-daughter). She's a bright, active, and beautiful girl, very into tennis right now. We like going rock climbing and boating.
I spend a lot of time with my family. In my extra time, I still enjoy surfing, birdwatching, backpacking, fishing, and gardening. Currently I'm learning to play the guitar and trying to figure out how to make our house bigger. In terms of Annapolis connections, I still try to keep up with Chuck Basil, Ed Hensler, and Opi Leckszas.
