Here's something I've been involved in for a while; it provides a pretty accurate picture of me and my interests. Lilies for Life: A Project for the Susan G. Komen Fund for the Cure Friends, Having reached the mid-point of my sixth decade on this earth, I¿ve come to realize how closely connected we all are to one another. I am a man of great passions, among them are animals, horticulture, and the need to honor and help my fellow humans on our journeys through life. Through a project that I developed to help raise funds for the Susan G. Komen Fund for the Cure, I¿ve been able to combine my passions and, in the end, offer the fruits of my efforts to help in the fight against breast cancer. I have owned a pet care service on Philadelphia¿s Main Line for 15 years, caring primarily for dogs in peoples¿ homes. Among my clients are leaders in business, medicine, education, and the law. It¿s my honor to know these people and to care for their pets. I¿ve watched their children grow, celebrated holidays with them, and sadly, I¿ve watched as some of my clients have endured the difficult process of dealing with breast cancer ¿ from diagnosis, to treatment, to celebrating the five-year anniversary.
