Lee's Story
It all started when...
Many of you may not remember me. I was that bashful kid that just kind of blended in to the background and was happy to not be noticed. This didn't make in my prospects for any of the proms but I survived.
I played some varsity baseball but eventually chose soccer in which I lettered.
I really did/do love Arlington but I was determined from the moment I started high school to NOT get stuck there as it offered very few career opportunities! Since my neither my parents or I could afford college I decided to enlist in the military. I served in the USAF for 12 years (1984 - 1996).

ave me some additional Chemistry, Physics, and mathematics education and I was able to learn how to operate some pretty cool high-tech laboratory equipment:
High-power light microscope
Scanning Electron Microscope (SEM)
Electron Microprobe etc.
I subsequently was assigned to Air Force Intelligence Command where I got to serve a minor support role during Desert Storm. My next step was training as a computer programmer and database administrator.
When McClellan AFB in Sacramento was shut down, I ended my 12 years of service and started a career in the IT industry - that is where I am today.
When I consider the California politics and the 100 degree + summers here in Sacramento I wonder why I am still here!?
But I put down roots with a wife of 28 years and a daughter of 16.
