Lee's Story

Life I was married in Exeter to Bruce Statham in 1994 and we have 2 kids. Annie is 11 and Tom is 5. We now live in Milton, Massachusetts and have for 12 years. We spent a lot of time in Southie before we bought our house in 1996. Bruce and I met when I worked for the Chart House Restaurants as a Sales Manager. Bruce had ALS for over 12 years and recently passed away on October 4th after a courageos battle. We miss him and have a wonderful support network that helps keep us on track. College I went to Northern Arizona University in Flagstaff for 4 years. Graduated with a degree in Hotel and Restaurant Management. College was a blast and I lived off campus mostly. Taught skiing at a local ski area. That was the...Expand for more
only way I could afford to ski in college. We took trips to Mexico and caught sunrises at the Grand Canyon. Other favorite trips were to Las Vegas. Ahh the good ole days, huh? Workplace I work as the Director of Marketing and Sales at the JFK Presidential Library and Museum. I've been there for 9 years and prior to that I worked for the Chart House Restaurant in Boston on Long Wharf as their Sales Manager. I travel a bit for my job to travel trade shows. Many interesting people visit the museum for forums or our annual Profile in Courage Award, which is given out by Caroline and Senator Kennedy. One year we gave it to Gerald Ford for pardoning Nixon so long ago. It's an interesting job with never a dull moment.
