Life HELLO FAMILY, FRIENDS, NEW ACQUAINTANCES, LONG LOST FRIENDS, MILITARY FRIENDS, AND CO-WORKERS, NURSING AGENCIES, AND LOVED ONES! I have only one 16 1/2 years old boy --- Shelby. I am doing fine, and retired from the Air Force Reserves on May 24, 2005. I managed to get a commission as a 1LT on Aug. 11, 2003, Air Force Nurse Corps (Clinic Nurse). I did my Commission Officer Training at Maxwell AFB, Alabama and finished on Sept. 25, 2003, and was sent straight to Landstuhl Regional Medical Center (Army Hospital serving with mostly people from the 349th Combat Support Hospital, Los Angeles, CA. -- and they had a fine group of Officers, and Enlisted Medics/Licensed Vocational Nurses, and Registered Nurses --- and I won't forget my friends ironically they were all Army despite me being an Air Force Officer!! Also, I met people from my former Army Reserve Unit deployed from Fresno, and Bakersfield, CA. 359th CSH, and I forgot their new unit name, Fresno. I "defected" to the 144th Fighter Wing (attached to 144 Medical Squadron (Group)) from Aug. 26, 1996 until Aug. 11, 2003!) located in Fresno, CA. and did some wonderful assignments in the "Top Star" Program, Honduras 2 weeks deployment and Call-Up on Sept. 11, 2001. Right now, and I am "enjoying my short retirement" from my former job (staff nurse -- 5 East, 4 East, Yosemite Clinic) at the Fresno Veterans Hospital (Dec. 11, 1994 to Feb. 18, 2006), and ...Expand for more
