Shortly before graduation from WRHS on June 6,1970, I met a nice young lady who I thought one day might be the love of my life. It didn't happen that way but she did set the standard for which I would eventually find Mrs. "Right"...That....did....happen...for that, I thank you and you know who you are... I served 22 years 3 months and 2 days in the United States Air Force from late 1970 to early 1993 and it was a "good ride". I look back now at my military career as a "22 year paid vacation". I sometimes feel that nobody could have enjoyed their job as much as I did mine. Little did I know that one day I would find myself flying the with people like the President and Vice President of the United States along with other dignitaries both local and abroad. Well, I suppose somebody had to do it and I was simply at the right place at the right time. Again....it was a "good ride".
