Lee's Story
I married a classmate in 1962. We divorced in 1972. From that marriage I have a son and a daughter that I am very proud of they have given me four beautiful grandchildren and two beautiful great grandchildren. I worked at the Census Bureau in Suitland, MD from 1960 until my son was born in 1964. After that I worked part time in retail stores until 1973 when I went to work for a residential and commercial property management company in Greenbelt, MD. I retired from there in 2008. three more grandchildren to our family. We have had a very good life together. We used to be very active with canoeing, boating and travel until 2005 when Bill was diagnosed with cancer. We have been fighting cancer ever since and so far have been successful but the treatment is sometimes as bad as the disease. I am really looking forward to the 50th reunion. It will be so good to see old friends I remember from the days of growing up in Capital Heights, the years at Maryland Park Junior High and Suitland High. I have lived all my life in Maryland and I don't see that changing.
