Lee's Story
Back in the day, I was always the somewhat quiet and reserved guy. I had a few select friends that would hang out with me, but for the most part I just kept to myself. Be that as it may, I was always there to help out anyone who asked for my assistance.
I guess the loner in me pushed me to look for more after high school. I tried the straight to college thing, but I was so bored with school, things just didn't work out. So 1 year later, I joined the Marine Corps. At least there I felt accepted and part of a team. After 8 years in service,
I had an established esprite de corps,
but when my dad passed away, I gave up the Corps to help my mom.
12 years later, the esprite de corps stuck with me, and I enroll...Expand for more
ed in a BLET class at 35, and at 36, I was the oldest graduate in my class. Since then, I have been working the past 3 1/2 years as a police officer with the Boiling Spring Lakes PD. It is a quiet little golfing community, but there is just enough crime to keep one busy.
As for family life, I am now married and living in Wilmington, NC. I have been married for 3 years, and our only kids, are our 3 cats named Jasper, Spooky, and Nigel. In today's world, we both agree that having pets is safer than having kids.
Other than that, I haven't really changed much. I've just gotten a little more gray, and I've put on a few pounds, but I still have a great since of humor, and a way of making just about anybody laugh.
