Leesa's Story

Heres hoping that this finds all of you doing well. As for me, I am living a life filled with the joy of watching my two beautiful and amazing daughters grow into beautiful and amazing young women. I live each day in anticipation of watching Gods plan for their lives unfold. They are now 17 and 21 years old. I look at them daily and I find that I am awed by their outer beauty, but even more so by their inner beauty. My heart overflows with love and pride for them. Of all my blessings, after of course God's amazing love for me, my two daughters are the biggest blessing of all in my life. I look forward with great anticipation to their futures. I know that both of them will do and accomplish amazing things with their lives. Not just on a grandiose scale, but in every little thing they do. They have so much to offer this crazy world we live in. They are two bright lights in this seemingly dark world that we live in today. Praise be to God! As for me on a personal level, my to do list is still full. I have lots of things still to see, to do, to feel, to accomplish. And I look forward to and thank God every day for the opportunities to do each and every one of them. With His grace and mercy I shall. I sincerely hope that each of you realize that every single day is a gift from God and that you treat it as such. My desire is that I live my life in a way that reflects Christ to everyone I meet along the way. That simply meaning that I too show love, and grace and forgiveness to everyone who crosses my path in this life. My hope is that each of you will lend a hand whenever the opportunity presents itself in your lives to help another. My hope is that each of you will smile at least once a day at a stranger, or simply speak words of encouragement to someone along your way. As these simple things can bring great reward in the life of another. It is so important that we all do are part to make our world a better place not just for ourselves but for others. My hope is also that each of you realize that God has a grand plan for each of our lives. And if we accept Him and His Son Jesus into our hearts, His amazing promises for our lives can be fulfilled. The greatest thing I can tell all of you is that He loves you right where you are. He sent His Son to earth to show us the way, then from earth Christ hung on a cross for our sins, our debt He paid. From the cross to the grave, He arose and ascended to Heaven to be with his Father to prepare a place for all who accept Him. His love is the greatest gift you could ever receive. And it is a gift for the taking, just like all gifts. You don't earn it you accept it by faith and you go on to live your life as a gift to Him by sharing His love with others. I write all of this because it is the most real thing in my life. Nothing really else matters. I could tell you that I live in a little beach town. I could tell you that I own my own little business and that I love my work because it involves making life easier for others. I could tell you that I plan on going back into nursing one day.I could tell you that I love the beach, day or night. I love antique stores and searching for the smallest of treasures. I c...Expand for more
ould tell you I love wild flowers and violets, that I love candle-lite, that I love hot tea and ginger snaps, that I love the smell of lavender, that I love bubble-gum ice cream, that I love anything my girls are into. But that all would do nothing to impact your life as you read this. So I took this time to share with you the most important thing that I could. As for anything else that I find that is of importance to me, it would be the knowledge that love is not some place we fall, it is something we should do. Also, per "Mark Twain", Remember to keep away from people who belittle your ambitions. Small people always do that, but the really great make you feel that you, too, can become great. I would love to hear from some of you whom I had the privilege to know in the past. God Bless! School As for my memories of high school, I had the privilege of knowing some really great people. Guys, girls and teachers. You all will know who you are. But I have to say that when I think about high school the truth is that the love of my life overshadows just about everything else. It is amazing to me that I loved him dearly then and still do to this very day. When I think of him, it does not seem like over twenty years of loving him, and of being in high school has passed by. It still seems like only yesterday. Though our lives led us both in different directions, and I personally loved others, it still was never like my love for him. But I can not say that I live with regrets, as time brought with it love that resulted in my two beautiful daughters. It also brought to him love that resulted in his four beautiful children. So we both have been blessed. He will always be my one true love and I cherish my memories. I still hear from him now and then and I find that hearing his voice after all this time still makes my heartbeat race and also brings tears to my eyes. Not sadness, just...well it is hard to put into words. As for high school, I must say that he is the reason I never achieved my full potential academically. That according to my teachers and my mother. -giggle- :) But hey, I was Terry's girl and that was an accomplishment in itself. As for the question what would I do, if I could do it all over again? Well I would give more attention to the fact that my education could truly put me in a different place in my life financially. And I would work to receive a full paid scholarship to the college of my choice. I would also be more involved in school activities. But hey no looking back, just forward. And as for my one true love, my mother forgives you. :) And I will always love you. College Nothing to exciting to post here. Only information is that I attended a small college in Orlando where I chose the medical field and due to a very unexpected tragedy in my life I did not finish and receive my degree. But even today at the age of 28, (laughing really hard right now..)I plan on returning to do nursing one day. I always felt a calling for that type of career. And it would make my girls really proud of me. *NOTE: There seems to be a typo-error in this post pertaining to my age. Oh well what the heck I think will leave it. Giggle.... :) Forever 28!
