Life I never thought I'd put out a life bio before, but here it goes. I got my BS in Accounting at UMass Boston in 1997. In June '97 I spent a month in Hong Kong and Taiwan visiting friends and meeting my then girlfriend's family. In 2000 I changed careers from accounting to Information Technology. I was lucky enough to work until January 2002 when the dot com crash caught up with me. In November 2002 I managed to secure an IT job. For most of the past two years, I've been in good shape job wise. Luckier than a lot of people I know in the field. College College was the best time of my life. The first few days at U Mass were strange because I didn't know anybody. Within ten days I had met the group of people who are my closest friends. Because of this group, I met my fiancee and many other people. My fondest memories are hanging out in our club room playing poker, watching anime movies, shooting darts, and just hanging out. Sometimes we all wonder why we actually left. We have more money now but never see each other. Maybe once a year all of us are in the same room. I got bitten by the computer bug while at school, and this led to a position with computing services, essentially working help desk. Looking back I remember installing Win95 for the first time, and running the wires for my first LAN. Fondest memories were playing with VAX/VMS and sending email bombs to my friends and inadvertently crashing the email server. Opps :-) Learning how to use gopher and seeing my first webpage in 1995 was an experience. My biggest regret is working too many hours and not spending enough time with my friends and missing out on some great events, such as seeing Alice Cooper and Killer Queen.
