Leigh's Story
11/4/13 - Asking what a person has been up to that hasn't seen the people she went to school with for over 15 years is a hard question to answer. It also feels a bit conceited, but I'll give it a whirl. I guess I'll be short and sweet because the details would fill several books.
Shortly after graduation, I left for Texas for the Air Force's Basic Training. I've been around the world at least seven times and fought in two wars. Vegas, NV, so I lived in Vegas for another five years and worked as a Consultant while getting my MBA.
Currently, I'm retired. I finally tracked down my half brother and connected with him. I'm no longer an only child, which is pretty great after 33 years of being one! The funny thing is, we both have 'only child syndrome'. He asked me to come help him grow his company, so I'll be moving to TN as soon as my new house is ready. It'll be a nice climate change from NV, that's for sure! My two German Shepherds and I are looking forward to the move. Maybe one day, I'll make it back to Syracuse.
