Leland's Story

Life Graduated high school in 1974 and joined USMC in June 1974. Finished duty in July 1976 and moved to Oregon. There I met my first wife and had one daughter, Anastasia Rashelle in 1977. We were divorced a year after that while I was stationed in Germany. I joined the Army in 1977 and stayed in until 1983. After getting out of the Army I started driving tractor-trailers cross country for 3 years. After rolling my rig in Birmingham, AL, I needed to learn a new trade. I went to school and got my degree in Accounting and am now the Accounting manager for a company that provides freight for companies needing to ship products in overseas containers and living in Minneapolis, MN. Just re-united with my daughter in 2000 years ago (after 23 years) and she has currently moved to NY (Buffalo area) w...Expand for more
here she is living with my wife and myself. (Update 5/30/06 - My daughter has moved back to Oregon where she is living and planning to move to Las Vegas) On December 20, 2001 I became a proud Grandpa of a baby boy. Donovan Andrew is his name and what a cutie!! I went to visit him when he was 3 months old. Grandkids are the BEST!!!! Just got back in May 2006 after a week visit to see him again. He will be starting Kindergarden in the fall. How quick they grow. In April 2004 I lost my Mom to emphysema after a long battle. Update - I was divorced from my current wife in November 2006. I have since reunited with my high school sweetheart Sandra Neuert and will be marrying sometime in the spring or early summer 2007.
