Life
After High School I moved to Texas. Then Alabama, never in a million years thought I'd end up there, lol!
Back to Texas, then off to Germany. I loved Germany!!! I didn't want to come home!!! But back to Texas again, Texas seems to be my stateside touchstone.
Started a family again and moved to Hawaii. Lovely place but you DON'T want to live there! And back to Texas again to see my Mom f...Expand for more
or the last time and care for my Dad in his last few years.
Strange how we think are parents are eternal isn't it? Mine supported my globe-trotting but I wish they'd said something before the end, nothing replaces the time I lost with them!
Now it seems I've settled down permanently in Texas. I never thought it would be more than a waiting-room state for me, but it appears I was wrong, lol.
