Life
Attended Jackson Memorial School of Nursing after grad. Married radiologist, Joe, in '64. Daughter 50, sons 48 and 47. Two grandchildren, 24 and 22. Moved to Asheville, NC in late '76. politics. Involved with local, state and federal campaigns. Divorced after 36 yrs. in '98. Served on Asheville City Council and elected Ashevilles first woman Mayor and served '98-2002. Due to post-divorce financial considerations, didn't run for a second term. I remain active in my community.
