Lenore's Story
I left Wilson High in 59 when my dad was transferred to Omaha NE. I graduated from Westside High in Omaha in 1960. I married in 61 and had two daughters, Bobbie & Lori. Divorced in 71. In 1975 I married Roy Samplawski and inherited two step daughters, Rhonda & Deanna. In 1976 we moved to Albert Lea MN with my husbands job. I worked as a dispatcher for the Albert Lea Police and Freeborn County Sheriff for 9 years. In 1986 my husband was transferred to the cities with his job . ...Expand for more
We bought a house in Blaine, and I worked for WCCO radio for a year and a half, and then went to work at Blaine Police Dept. for 2 years. In 1989 we started up our own trucking business, an auto transport company, and I worked as the secretary treasurer, until we retired a in mid 2010. We moved to Rush Lake near Rush City MN in 1996. We now have 7 grand children. We enjoy the lake, and also love to camp with our RV. I am active with our church and the American Legion Auxilary.
