My Spouse
I met my husband, John, in boot camp. And against all odds, we're still together. 29 years and counting!
Our Kids
We have two daughters and a son and three grandchildren (again two girls and a boy). The oldest daughter, Sarah, lives in northern Indiana with her husband and their two children. The next in line, Ginny, lives in Kentucky with her husband and their daughter. Our son, Howard, is now 17 and will have his driver's license soon. We wonder sometimes if we'll survive his teens.
My Job

Navy, I started working for a government contractor (big surprise!). My job involves providing technical support for system development. I also write technical documentation for both the hardware and software as well as provide training to fleet personnel after the systems are installed. Sometimes I get to assist with the installations, too.
Last year I started supporting a second project. This one is creating a virtual training environment for maintenance technicians. It's been interesting work and a big change from writing tech manuals!
