Leona's Story
Hello,
I'm sure you have tons of questions, but here are the brief facts! I am married to a wonderful man, Steven, since 1981 and we have three grown daughters. The eldest lives in CA, the middle lives in GA, our youngest lives in AL. We moved back to GA in 2006 and are empty nesters now, but have 7 grandchildren to keep us busy. 4 grandsons
and 3 grand daughters.
We live in the "country" in a little town that is the county seat of Walton county. Living outside Atlanta is very interesting, it's quite like living in Wayne county, but the traffic is much worse!
My parents have passed away, and our family home is being sold as I type this. I still have siblings in Garden City & Dearborn Heights but my trips up there will be much less frequent than in the past. It is hard to "go home" when the home is no longer in the family. In 2005 we had a Class Reunion that I fully intended to attend, but a heart attack interrupted those plans. I did see several of you who were kind enough to come to the hospital and visit me. This past June we graduated 45 years ago, and I think it's time for another reunion, but I don't know if anyone wants to get back together or if we should wait for our 50th in 2020. What are your thoughts? I'd love to hear your comments and ideas.
