Leona's Story
I hope they remember me like I was back then, as I have not changed that much.
I got married right away after my freshman year, to the love of my life, and have been married for or will be 58 years in Nov. Very much still in love, Hubby has been battleing cancer for the last 2 years and just this week is finishing 7 weeks of radiation, He is getting better, and they hope they get it all this time.We both are retired, I retired as a apple packer from Allan Brothers warehouse in 2006. I worked for 53 years.
We are blessed with 4 children, two girles and 2 boys (twins)they are 54, 53 and 50 years old, and they blessed us with 10 beautiful grandkids, and 3 great grandkids.
Am a member of New Hope Baptist Church, Taught Sunday School for 16 years, worked as aid in Christain School 10 years, and in Awana for 10 years. My favorite way to relax is just being home with my hubby, and travel when we can.Being with family, and friends and Church family. My inspiration comes from God.
Would be good to see all old class mates from Lower Naches. I would love to see Mr. Hudson, and Miss Goodwin from Lower Naches, because they were a big influence on my life.
If I won a million dollars i woud help the needy, family and grandkids.

d careing and am a Godly women.My oldest friend from School is Karen Seymour, and we are a lot alike, and we still keep contact with each other over the years, and she and her hubby attended our 50th Ann. I have lot of good memories of George Knickrehm, Micky Berstch, Karen Seymour, Peggy Terrell,Neal concrad, Shirley Linker,Iva Lena Jackson,Mary Ann Applehof,well really of all the kids i wnet to Lower Naches with. Up date on my story. I lost the love of my life on the 31 of March 2009 of 57 years that the Lord allowed us to have to gether, and what a great loss, but know we will be together again in Heaven someday.He left me with many, many preciouse memories and a wonderful family to to walk with me the rest of my days,I have loss my parents and a brother and sister and that was so hard and a great loss, but loseing your spouce is a greater loss something you to not understand till you have it happen to you. I alsways thought I understood when my friends lost their mates, but i had no idea what it really was like. But i do . So hang on to the great love you have for one another and show your love more then ever, as the day will come when that time will end and you will need all them precious memories to keep you going, I am so thankful for all mine, that God blessed me with all those years of happiness together.
