Leona's Story
I finally get the meaning of "Youth is wasted on the young." When I was in grammar and H.S. I so envied the "poplular kids" or at least those that seemed to be. Somewhere in my 20's I realized how shallow that idea (and many of those people) are. What's important to me now is my family, my faith, and the few individuals that are truly my friends. Oh, I have made many acquaintances in this life, but only a handful are truly friends!! I am very health/fitness conscious, but not fanatical. I try to be "green" environmentally speaking, but I know I could do bet...Expand for more
ter. But that's the beauty of our existence---you can always strive to become better. I will probably not retire when the appropriate age falls upon me because that just doesn't seem possible, but that's okay! I enjoy where I live (beautiful mountain-viewed area in Az.) and what I do (my husband and I own and operate a service business) and I work part-time in a gym as a fitness coach. Never becamed rich, but we live comfortably. So basically, Life is Very Good. That's my story, and I'm sticking to it!!! Hope to share stories with some of you later.
