Leonard Phillips:  

Graduated from Dixie Hollins H.S. while also receiving a Vocational Certificate in Drafting and Design. Graduated from St. Petersburg Junior College with an Associate in Arts leading to a degree in Engineering. Graduated from University of Central Florida with a Bachelor of Science degree in Industrial Engineering. I achieved the rank of Eagle Scout with Troop 314 in St. Pete and also served as their Assistant Scoutmaster. From there I made the move to the district level and served for a while as a Unit Commissioner for several troops. After a couple of jobs I got my first start in electronics manufacturing at Security Tag Systems in Clearwater, FL. My next job was as a Contract Manufacturing Engineer in military electronics at Sperry Univac in Oldsmar, FL. From there I went to Philips Circuits Assemblies in Tampa, FL to help start an Industrial Engineering department. While at Philips Circuits Assemblies I also had later worked as a Quality Engineer and a Manufacturing Engineer. After Philips I go my introduction into medical electronics as a Manufacturing Engineer at Linvatec in Largo, FL. It was while at Linvatec that I met my first wife of 9-1/2 years, Monica Christina Wease, through a co-worker.
