03/05/07 Shirley (Meadors '64) and I have been married for 42 years, have 3 children and 6 grand-children.
I retired in June of '06 from an ag. seed sales position with Golden Harvest Seeds. For benefits, gas money, and something to keep me out of my wife's opinion of undesireable places, I started driving a school bus (of all things) for Zionsville Schools. I guess I've got enough "Crankshaft" and grandpa in me that I actually kind of enjoy it. I'm also looking forward to a farming career. ...Expand for more
Well, it's more like a mini' farm. It's really more like 4-5 acres of sweet corn and a few pumpkins. You can ask me in August how that worked out.
I'm sort of helping with the plans for our Class of '62 Reunion, planned for August 11, 2007, with activites planned for the Friday evening before and the Sunday morning after. Oh no - 45 years !!
