Leroy's Story
I have been checking out the year book and seem to recognize some, but due to the years and my age, I am really having a problem with that. :-)
While in school, I played in the band and then I took up the industrial arts, A/C in which I was the Sargent at Arms.
Due to my having all the required credits needed for graduation, I graduated in January of 1968. I didn't want to stay in school any longer that I had too. ( I regret that now).
After graduation, I received my draft notice; so I enl...Expand for more
isted int eh US Army in which I stayed in for 15 years 3 months and 28 days due to being medically discharged. I served in the Viet Nam war and came into contact with the Agent Orange chemical and that contributed to my being medically discharged from the military service.
Now I am working for the US Army in a different capacity. I work for a contractor that is assigned to the Army for support. I have been doing this for the last 13+ years and am thinking of retiring at the end of this year.
