Lesley's Story
I now live in Alpine, Texas with my husband of 33 years- Dan Vrudny. He is a professor at Sul Ross State University. I have been a stay at home mom. I homeschooled my 3 children for at least part of their educations. In the spring of 2009 I got a job as a substitute teacher for a pre K program and now I am teaching music at that elementary school. My oldest daughter, Kelly, has 3 children which makes me a grandmother already! My 2nd daughter, Shanda,is an RN, and getting married in June. My son, Scott,graduated in May 2009. haircuts "on the side." I am also a Creative Memories consultant and love creating my very own family history. I would be very happy to help you get your story into a book where they will be preserved for future generations! I have been in a cowboy/country gospel band. I love contemporary Christian music. I have been the music coordinator at my church and led the praise and worship band there- Dan and Scott were part of the band. I have led youth groups, Sunday school classes, and vacation Bible schools. Church and my family have been my life, and a busy one it has been.
