Leslie's Story
Life
After graduating from La Serna, I attended Cal Poly SLO, transferring to Cal Poly Pomona my junior year. In 1972, I married Robert Cobb. I started teaching in 1975 and still love my work. Robert and I had two children. Garrett was born in 1980. After four years of water polo and two years of grad school and coaching at Whittier College, he is now a Project Engineer for R. D. Our daughter ,Alicia ,is now a senior at San Diego State. Cia, as she is mostly known, is on full scholarship for water polo and has also done extremely well academically. In 1994, Robert suffered from a brain aneurysm which paralyzed him. After 6 long years of trying to get better he passed away in April 2000. I live in Yorba Linda and still manage to spend part of my summers in the mountains and at the beach!
