Life After high school, I went to college for a year and then joined the Navy where I spent the next 20 years of my life. I traveled all over Asia, from the Bearing Sea to Diego Garcia in the Indian Ocean. I visited Hong Kong, Hiroshima, Subic Bay, Singapor, and Pusan, Korea to name a few stops. I spent time in Bhuddist Monastaries and went on a wild elephant round up. I was also in a few brew ups. After retirement in 1994 I knocked around at a few jobs but realized that I was basically lost as a civilian. I also became disabled due to the things I had done in the military. My wife became disallusioned with me and we divorced in 1995. I finally found an outlet for my fustrations in writing. I currently have two manuscripts completed and am working on a third. I remarried and found out that I had a talent for jewelry designs. My work has been sold in Nordstrom, and Saks Fifth Avenue. My wife was sent to Milan Italy by the US Dept. of Commerce in 1998 to participate in the European Fine Jewelry exposition.
