Leslie's Story
Life
Moved from Scottsdale to Port Angeles, WA in 1977 and have been here since. I live in the woods, under a canopy of constant rain, I swear. Raised one child, my daughter Kelly Jo, now 22 years old. Never finished college...I would like to get an AAS or certification in Horticulture and make my hobby of landscape design more profitable. I study the Italian language -- more fun than Spanish! Six months out of the year are dedicated to that great, all-American wonder known as baseball and my Seattle Mariners. acque (Fox) Thomas. Took in a game at Shea Stadium and walked through the south tower of the WTC just weeks before 9/11. I stay active by playing intramural and City League coed softball, weightlifting, and I still enjoy archery.
School
I wouldn't want to sit in a classroom for 55 minutes and listen to lectures, read an assignment or do the homework. Too much commitment for something I am not interested in...hands-on is the only way for me now.
Workplace
Currently work for Peninsula College as Program Assistant for Marketing and Recruiting and Coordinator of annual Job Fair and Career Expo.
