Leslie's Story
I started college enthusiatically at Vanderbilt,and had an exciting first semester with wonderful new friends. However, my family suddenly decided to move to Alaska, and since that was a country away (literally, Canada), my family encouraged me to take an academic leave of absence so I could "temporarily" study in Fairbanks and not be so far away. rever. I went to U.W. Medical school via the "WAMI" program (Alaska, Montana and Idaho with washington). My training toook me all over the country; Seattle,WA, Winston-Salem, N.C., Tucson, AZ ( gotta love that heat!), But always back to Alaska. Now I practice Nephrology in Anchorage.
I am raising 2 wonderful children, Ian, and Jordan. They amaze me! We love to travel, but are in one of the greatest vacation states in the country, so we don't have to go far!
