Leslie's Story
The year before I graduated from Simi High I was moved to Northern California where I graduated from Enterprise High in Redding. My husband and I got married in 1980 and had 3 girls. I am an elementary school teacher (4th grade) and in 2003 we moved up to Northwest Alaska. We live in an isolated part of Alaska where the only way in or out is to fly. They call that the "bush." es of paved road with a grocery store on either end of the road. No malls, no fast food. It makes for an interesting adventure. I work for the only school district that flies a small group of students across the river to school each day. We are living in the Salmon capital of the world! I have two grandsons Kolton and Kash and a granduaghter on the way in May.
Life is definitely never dull!
