Leslie's Story
Life
I am married, now known as Leslie O'Donnell, and have two children; Katie is 11 and Michael is 8. I have a very rewarding career in Biotechnology and am working for Centocor, the biotechnology division of Johnson & Johnson, as a purification suprvisor making products for clinical trials. Our pilot plant for making phase I/II clinical product was recently approved by the FDA and our newest product will start Phase I clinical trials in November. physical fitness and have recently been doing long distance swimming averaging 1 1/2 - 2 miles about 3 times a week, as well as training for more triathlons in the spring. I recently completed the Cape May NJ triathlon (sprint distance) and competed in the Smith Mountain Lake Olympic Distance Triathlon. As a side job, I have been teaching swimming at the local YMCA, and coaching new triathletes for the swim portion of their race. My husband Kevin says that I am a scientist to pay the bills and a swimming teacher for fun - he might be right...
