Leslie's Story

Life Typical. I have two daughters, 8 and 6, and have been married for ten years. I live in suburban VA (35 miles from D.C.) and work as a supervisory attorney for a federal government agency (we prosecute other federal agencies for employment discrimination)in washington, d.c. My husband is a residential construction contractor and is from Richmond, VA. He is my exact opposite in every respect, religion, politics, education, where he's from - but it works for us. n when I thought I could never understand it. I wouldn't do it all again. It wasn't bad, but it wasn't anything special. College I had a great time at cornell. Lots of studying, but lots of fun. Law school was probably even better. Met my best friends ever there. Workplace First worked at a large law firm in Denver Colorado, but now have been with the feds for the last fifteen years working with people and in a field I really like. I worked during college and lawschool and every summer at various jobs, camp counselor, McDonald's, Bloomingdale's for Chanel cosmetiocs, and then a variety of other cosmetics companies. During the school years I usually worked at a deli or waitressed so that I would be fed (I was quite the starving student).
