Leslie's Story
Life
After graduation, I spent three years active duty in the Marine Corps. Upon discharge, I became an apprentice tool and die maker. I worked that job for two years before deciding to become a school teacher (I'm sure you can all see the conection). I attended South Macomb Community College (now MCC) tor two years then went to Michigan State. I began teaching 4th grade at Greenwood Elementary in St. Clair Shores. cquired a Masters degree from University of Michigan. I am married for thirty-six years to my wife Sandy (Denby '61'} and have two adult children Dan and Jeniffer. Upon retirement from teaching I took a job at Bulldog Boiler in Hamtramck where as special projects manager, I do most everything that has nothing to do with boilers. In my spare time I am a scuba diving instructor, a barbershop singer, and a very active Boy Scout leader. I am living in Troy Mi, in a house my wife and I built ouselves back in 1976. I am enjoying retirement and would be glad to hear from any old Jungaleers.
