Dave Garrett in Anaheim on June 4th 1969. Susanville C In 1970 we moved to a. where we lived "communallly" until 1972 when we got pregnant,moved back to So. Cal. and our son Matthew was born. Unfortunately, but not unexpectidly, we split up in 1974, David moved to Washington state where he continued with his life . Matthew and I wandered around up and down the state finally setteling in the beautiful beach town of Ventura, where we have lived ever since. Matt, is my only child,{not for lack of trying}, and I could not have asked for a better gift! He truely was and still is the greatest giftMarried God has ever given me! He is 35 years old now, has a 9 year old son named Matthew Jr. and a 2 year old daughter named Kaili and the best woman in his life named Brie. Together they and my adopted Grandson Gary {20yrs.} and his 2 boys Hayden whose 2and a half and Adrian who"s 1 and a half and their mom, Angela, make my life very fulfilling. ( ...and ,yes, I am a great-grandma). I(n 1977 I fell in love at first sight with a man from New York named Al Parsons. We had a blissful relationship that was cut way to short after about a year when he was killed in a motorcycle accident. I was devistated and thought I would never get over the broken heart and emptiness I felt, Was I ever wrong!! That's when Michael Andress came into our lives and basically became my savior and my sons"dad" We were together for 1o years when I became stuck on stupid for a while and went looking for greener pastures. Boy, was that the stupidest thing I have ever done! Michael died of a heart attack in 1990 and I STILL think of him EVERY day. In 1992 I met and married a Polish man named Lee Kappell who was the person every Pollock joke was made!!! Unfortunately, he couldn't cut the apron strings 'moved back to St Paul or wherever, had a heart attack and died in 1995.
