I went to 13 schools from K-12. I rarely had the chance to make lasting friends but the one I remember was Ann. She was a friend at a tough time in my life and hers. She was a lifesaver. We were separated when I moved and had to switch to Nimitz Jr. High from WW Jackson Middle School. I ended up at Robert E. Lee High and she at Churchill High. Just as she was going to Lee we moved to California and lost touch. But I've always remembered her and thought of her special. After a number of school and city/state changes with my mom, I ended up graduating from Wichita East High in Kansas having only been there six months. After a year of college, I joined the Air Force and spent 13 years in until I was injured and medically retired in 1991. I had finished my BS Degree in Human Resource Management and taught in a private school for a couple years before going to Liberia WA as a teacher/missionary during their civil war years from 1994-2003. I've been back five years now. I have six children (1 biological son and 5 adopted; 4 girls and 1 boy).
