Leslie's Story
One cool thing that happened to me since high school was finding my birth family in 2005. My parents married each other a year after I was born, had 3 more children and are still together in the Burns Lake area of British Columbia.
We have spent the last couple of years getting to know each other and trying to make up for lost time.

d all. Who knows maybe I would have liked being able to drive highway equipment like my sister or tromping through their 300 acres like my brothers but I have found I had similar experiences growing up and don't think I missed out on too much.
But it does hurt just a little looking at their old photos of Christmas through the years, with the kids in front of the tree... and I was not there...sigh...C'est la vie.
