Leslie's Story

3-10-08 From K-6th grade I attended Garden Grove Elementary. After two months of 7th grade at Northridge Jr. High my dad joined the Peace Corps. My dad, mom, brother and I moved to Bridgetown, Barbados, West Indies. We lasted one month and returned home and I completed the 7th grade at Northridge Jr. High. That summer we moved again. This time it was to Eugene, Oregon so my dad could attend the University of Oregon to earn his PhD in psycology. There I attended Madison Jr. High and graduated from North Eugene High School in 1973. My parents and brother moved to Northern California the summer of 1973 but I decided to stay in Oregon. I worked, went to community college for a year and partied with friends. retary in Newport Beach, then went to work for a bank for 11 years in customer service and finally I worked at Hoag Hospital scheduling radiology appts. In the meantime, I got married in 1991 to Ron and we have two teenage daughers, Erin(16) and Katie(15) and two beagle-sons, Harley and Quincy. My husband is an electrician and at present, I get to be a stay-at-home mom. We reside in Riverside, California where we own a home. Life is good. We do a lot with family. My girls go to high school with four of their cousins. We like to travel. Have gone on a few cruises, cross-country to Pittsburgh, PA. by train for a reunion of my husband's family, and in May, Katie and I will be going to Italy for 10 days with her Madrigal singing group. I signed up with classmates because I would love to hear from or about any and all of my old friends.
