Leslie's Story

Life As many know from previous reunions, I was married for 20 years and have one daughter. I have been divorced for about 4 years and now live in Illinois. My daughter almost 21 years old now and a college student at the Art Institute of Las Vegas. She will graduate this summer with her Associates in Culinary Arts and plans to continue her education in the same field. I moved to Illinois when she entered college and live with a man that has businesses in the welding and fabrication field as well petroleum tank removal and enviormental clean up business. e plan to build at least 4 more duplexes, possibly 7. I love Illinois mostly because after 25 years in the gambling business, it has restored my faith in humanity. GO FIGURE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! People in this town of 1800 wave at you even if they don't know you, and they treat you like they have known you forever. Find that in Las Vegas with people that don't know you. Winters are rough but I love them from the inside looking out. When everything is covered in snow, it is beautiful and clean. The air is crisp and sweet and then I rush inside to stand by the fire. That, in my opinion, is the only way to see the outside at 0 degrees. Yeah, I'm a desert rat to the bone.
