Leslie's Story

Life I am living in Brainerd. We have been back here since 1990 after spending 9 years in Elkins, WV. I am married to Steve Hobson, also a Brainerd graduate (1971). We have two children, Rachel, 23, and Zach, 20. Rachel graduated from CLC with an AA and a criminal justice certificate. She already has her Spanish proficiency from Hamline University. mater, as a graphic design student. He came back last year and is going to CLC. He continues to want to be in art. I am the youth and family ministries director at Park United Methodist Church. I have been there for 8 years. I taught school for nine years in WV. I finished seminary classes at New York City Theological Seminary and am nowa deaconess in the United Methodist Church.
