Leslie's Story

30 years of catch up here is not so easy! I moved back to Redding after graduating from Cal Poly State University in San Luis Obispo in 1986 where I got my degree in Bio Science and Physical Education with a concentration in teaching. I have two beautiful boys, Jimmy & Ryan who both now attend Shasta High and are involved in all sports. It is really fun when we play baseball or football against Red Bluff. (GO SHASTA) (laughing) I divorced about 8 years ago and have been raising kids and enjoying working for myself. I have done many things over the years from teaching to building businesses, developing products and community networking. I had the Village Schoolhouse Toys store and little community center here in Redding until we closed a few months ago. Awaiting God to open another door and in the mean time, I am enjoying the fruits of being a stay at home Mom for the first time in my life. UN-which has been my passion for years. I enjoy building businesses and being with people, especially children, so I believe it will not be long until I am up and running again with another adventure. For now, it is making 20 PB&J's each day to take to football for all the boys, being a taxi to my youngest who won't be driving until next year and praying that my oldest slows down!! I guess I am also planning the 30 year class reunion, so that will keep me busy as well. If anyone has any suggestions please go to our event calendar and email me anytime.
