Life Lester McCarroll, Jr. is President and CEO of The McCarroll Group, founded in June of 2003. The McCarroll Group creates and seeks ideas that enhance urban lifestyles through technology, and helps individuals and companies create new revenue streams from these ideas. Of particular interest are six lifestyle spaces: how we educate ourselves, how we entertain ourselves, how we stay connected, how we serve the community, how we worship, and how we build business capability and human capital. The application of new technologies to these lifestyles enables new, practical services for consumers and businesses. Lester and his associates “connect the dots” between the technology roadmap, business models, strategy and marketing initiatives and trends, product planning, and a global network of people and companies to bring these new ideas to market. The Group’s ventures include NuFace Entertainment, an entertainment marketing and technology platform company; The Technology Consortium Group, an information technology and services concern; and T3Y, a new apparel brand being launched later in the spring of 2005. Other Group projects are building businesses from new wireless solutions tuned for entertainment, video gaming features to facilitate player development in professional sports, new executive coaching approaches, and advertising networks for creating buzz for new products in urban areas.
