Leticia's Story
Who am I? At 44, I am still defining myself. Most mornings I wake up and still feel like that old girl from high school, start to think like that old wild and crazy chick from Edison high and wow!!!! then I get up and out of bed and reality sets in. Back in "84", I was single, wild, and free (and for those who knew me well I was very wild) today, I am a happy single mom of four, with a very busy life. My children range in ages, eight through 22, three boys, and one beautiful girl. The three youngest children live with me, as for my oldest he lives on his own. He bought his own home at the age of 20, which made his dear old mom very proud. Currently, I teach full time at a private school and have been employed at the same school for the past 24 years. che. On most evenings you find me at home with the kids, although I do get out a few nights a week to attend night classes. Yes, I am a late bloomer to the college scene. I chose to start a family right after high school, which at the time was more important to me. My family is still my #1 priority and always has been. The neat thing about attending college right now is that it has motivated my oldest son to return to school and now you find us both studying for test together. Since my life is so busy, I do not have an opportunity to get out quite as often as I would like to, so meeting up with old friends on classmates.com has been great. I look forward to catching up with as many friends as possible and see what new ventures this time around brings us.
