Levi's Story
Well hello my friends and family, this is Levi "Doc" Scott. Immediately upon graduating from Eastman High, I entered the United States Air Force, and spent an amazing 27+ years and rose to the rank of Chief Master Sergeant and Security Forces Career Field Manager at the Pentagon. Along the way, I met and married the former Dianne Cassell of Clover, SC. We have been married for over 36 years now and have five beautiful adult children, eight grandchildren, and one great grandchild. We have managed to see, live, and travel around the world while raising kids and serving our country. Along the way, I was able to earn an AAS in Security Management, a BA in Criminology, a MA in Human Resources Development, and I am current enrolled in a PhD program in Criminal Justice with a concentration in Homeland Security. I retired from the USAF in late 2005, worked in Corporate America for five years as a Regional Security Manager for the Carolinas, taught High School at Northwest Halifax High (teaching PE, Health Science, Physical Science, Pre-Algebra, and Assistant Track Coach), and have since transitioned back into Security Management as Director of Security (N...Expand for more
ational Account Manager) on the BB&T Banking System (nearly 4-years), and moved on to Novozymes, a Global Danish Biotech Company, as the sole Regional Security Officer for North American interest, and have since been promoted to Head of Occupational Health and Safety for the Americas (Canada to Argentina) and still, based out of Franklinton, NC. Of any measure of accomplishment or success, to God be the Glory! I feel most blessed that I had a spiritual reawakening and reestablished my fellowship with my Lord and Savior Jesus Christ in my early 30s. I have since been ordained as a Deacon and have been appointed as Chairman of the Deacon/Trustee Board for Plumbline United Holy Church (yes, the same church I grew up in), and am a regular on the podium teaching Adult Sunday School classes, and occasionally called upon to teach Bible Study Sessions and Lead Prayer Meetings. Yes, God works in mysterious ways, and I am so glad that I was a small part of His chosen plan. Please keep us in your prayers, and by all means keep the faith!
